Lama Igor is a very inspirational and wise lama who travels around the world from a place of goodwill and spreads Tibetan Buddhism. He gives free teachings and practice recommendations to anyone and everyone who needs it. He is a very kind and good person whom I want to help. I want to ask you to help me raise money to build a Buddhist Retreat Center for Lama Igor and his community in a Russian city called Ufa. With all his accumulated knowledge and wisdom, is building a center in Russia, of which there are very few, to make Buddhism more accessible to the Russian population. Visitors of this center will be able to come and practice solo or with fellow peers. This center will also host a traditional three-year Buddhist retreat, which is very rare for centers around the world. The three-year retreat remains one of the most important institutions of Buddhism. This retreat of solitary meditation within a group has tremendous power to clear away the obscurations that prevent the clear recognition of the mind’s essence. Since the lama spends on construction only the money that was donated to him, the construction itself takes quite a long time and I want to help him in this difficult time to raise funds that will speed up the process and open the center at a sooner date so he can spread Buddhist ideas: some of being peace and positivity.
