MFB 522 Drum Machine Tape Mix

Live mix of MFB522 and the Akai s3000. 707 providing sync and trigger for the 3000 samples & MFB. The MFB is a really cool unit. It’s got a nice “poppy“ character and if you drive it on to tape quite heavily it brings out a lot more of the harmonics. If you’re thinking about getting one I’d say do it. Even though it’s tiny and quite noisy, they’re loads of fun for jamming around with.
