Russian flamethrowers on combat mission Servicemen of the Central Military District destroyed a stronghold and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during night combat work in the Krasny Liman direction. The crew of the heavy flamethrower system Solntsepyok destroyed the stronghold and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, providing combat work for the military personnel of the assault group. Having received the coordinates of the enemy, the TOS crew members marched to the firing position, guided the installation to the target with the help of the fire control system and fired a salvo of shells at the strong point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the course of firing at night, the crew uses special night vision equipment, which in no way affected the accuracy of firing and the fulfillment of assigned combat missions. Shooting was carried out with thermobaric ammunition, which is especially effective in wooded areas, where traditional types of projectiles are not always effective enough against the enemy hidden in strongholds, as well as in deep shelters. In addition to the manpower of the enemy, such charges also make it possible to destroy lightly armored vehicles, setting fire to the fuel in the tanks with a hot cloud of gas created during the explosion, which leads to the detonation of combat vehicles. A heavy flamethrower system is a necessary element in the modern conditions of a special military operation and allows to effectively overcome the enemy’s defenses.
