Mark Selby survives shock to beat Kurt Maflin at Betfred World Snooker Championship 2015
Mark Selby held his nerve to comeback against qualifier Kurt Maflin at the Betfred World Snooker Championship.
While Selby had the better of the first session and looked to be cruising towards the win, Maflin most definitely had the best of the second session. The debutant won 5 frames on the bounce coming from 8-4 down to 9-8 and on the verge of knocking the world champion out in the first round.
Experience won out and Selby survived. But only just. 10-9
