GERM performing Keyboard Study 2 by Terry Riley

Keyboard Study 2 is the first track on GERM’s 1968 album “Terry Riley / Pierre Mariétan - Keyboard Study 2 / Initiative ( Systèmes)“. Originally released on the French BYG label. GERM is an abbreviation for Groupe d’Étude et Réalisation Musicale, a nine-piece ensemble. And Terry Riley’s Keyboard Study 2 was performed by the following two members of the ensemble: Martine Joste (piano) Gerard Frémy (piano) About: Keyboard Study 2 was recorded for the first time by Terry Riley himself in 1964 where it was included on the album Reed Streams under an alternative title as “Untitled Organ“ - More info to be found here on this blog:
