In this video, I am showing how to make Tsukune, or chicken meat balls on skewers, which is a very common variation of Yakitori.
In my Channel, I show step by step of alternative but authentic Japanese home cooking, which can be made with the ingredients that are easily available outside of Japan.
Ingredients for Tsukune
Tsukune chicken meat balls:
- Minced chicken 200 g
- Onion 1/4-1/2
- Scallion 1 stalk
- Ginger 5-10 g
- Egg white 1/2
- Starch 1 Tbsp
- Salt & Pepper 1/4 Tsp each
Yakitori sauce:
- Sugar 1 Tbsp
- Soy sauce 1 Tbsp
- Sake 1 Tbsp
