Pink Floyd’s The Wall Live at Earls Court, London on August 8, 1980, was a part of the band’s 1980-1981 tour in support of their 11th studio album, “The Wall.“ The album, released in November 1979, was a rock opera that dealt with themes such as abandonment, isolation, and the psychological effects of war. Conceived by Roger Waters, the band’s bassist and primary songwriter, “The Wall“ was a semi-autobiographical story based on his own life experiences and those of the band’s original leader, Syd Barrett. The ambitious live performances of
