Vim On The Water (1929)

Filmed at Seaview on the Isle of Wight. C/U of a boat called Mercury speeding along with eight “bright young things“ as passengers. The men wear suits and the girls wear bathing suits. They wave to the cameraman. C/U of one of the girls sitting on the back of the boat. M/S of one of the girls water skiing on a mono ski. Shot from beside the boat with the boys watching the woman water skiing behind the boat. Shot from the back of the boat of the water skier. M/S of two women on the ski. One holds the other around the waist. One on the back falls off and into the sea, then the other woman falls in (probably on purpose.) A change of scene, punting at Shepperton. L/S of a female punter in a white dress propelling a punt along a river at great speed. A man walks his dog along the river bank and watches her.
