“Without tools, there is no craft“

WIP, these are some intermediate processes. Yesterday I printed a small edition of a piece which translates from Serbian as “Without tools, there is no craft“ (“Без алата нема заната“). A week ago, I ordered some gold typographic ink and I’m really looking forward to continuing with the work. The actual work was quite difficult to cut out, with many small details. But with each time, I find myself having more patience to go even further with the details — after all, how did the masters from centuries past manage it? 🙂 I always add a bit of red to the black ink to refine the “color“, but during yesterday’s printing process, it tended more towards red, and then I started adding yellow — overall, the first printed sheets differ significantly from the last ones, which have a distinct red hue.
