’Fastest Woman on 4 Wheels’ Dies Trying to Break Own Record

Jessi Combs, an accomplished racer and TV personality, was killed while trying to break her own land-speed record in Oregon. Known as the “fastest woman on four wheels,“ Combs died while driving her jet-powered car, a North American Eagle Supersonic Speed Challenger, in the Alvord Desert. She was attempting to break a record of hers when she died. Update: Combs was 39 when she died, not 36 as initially reported. #InsideEdition
