Oliver Laric is an Austrian artist born in 1981. This work is located at the St. Louis Art Museum, was created in 2014-2015 and consists of a looped 5 minute and 55 second 4K video.
In “Untitled“, Oliver Laric culled animated clips from around the world and across the history of the medium. He then created a new animated video where figures morph into each other, producing a fluid sequence of transforming bodies. Situated against a blank white screen, this stream of animations is interspersed with 3-D modeled forms that evolve and adapt.
