The Subway in Los Angeles, California 2018

The red and purple lines make up the subway of Los Angeles with a combined daily weekday ridership of 150,000. There are 16 stations in total with the two lines overlapping mostly in downtown Los Angeles. Since LA is low density and car oriented, its public transit system, especially the subway is not well developed (compared to cities around the world of similar population size: 4 million people); however, there are several plans to grow the network including a major purple line extension. - Thank you for your support.
