LAMI would like to facilitate a unique experience for Ateez. This is an opportunity to learn to sail and Captain their own Pirate Ship. We understand that Ateez are Korean cultural ambassadors who also have a sailing theme and are coming to Los Angeles. The Irving Johnson and sister ship, the Exy Johnson are official ambassadors for the City of Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Maritime Institute - - sponsors programs to empower underserved youth and help them discover their greater potential. This idea for cross-cultural ambassadorship would fit well with the artist’s sailing/pirate theme and also promote goodwill and more connections between Korea and the City of Los Angeles.
