Operation Tumbler Snapper: Shot Dog

Shot Dog, conducted on May 1, 1952, was the fourth in the Operation Tumbler Snapper series of nuclear tests at the Nevada Test Site. This video shows a ground view of the test. Dog yielded 19 kilotons. It was part of the Desert Rock IV exercises, where thousands of military personnel trained to simulate activity on a nuclear battlefield.
