Rhye - Open

This recording of Open was done live off the floor at the fortress studio in Los Angeles one night before we went off on a little tour across Europe and the U.S. The footage is just a collection of images that I shot while on this little tour, placing the camera in random positions behind us on stage, shots of set ups and some shots of Alexa zoning off looking at the french country side from the euro star train. The footage in the middle of the piece is especially dear to me as this was shot in san fran on my wife’s birthday and we got the entire crowd of about 700 people to join in. It was a particularly beautiful moment for me and I am glad I caught Alexa’s reaction to this on camera. Music video by Rhye performing Open. (C) 2013 Polydor Ltd. (UK)
