I find their relationship refreshing. It also helps the storyline in my opinion. Hailey needed Adam to create more personal relationship with the others, because she only had Jay, and Voight and Trudy, but with the others from the unit, she almost had nothing in common. Now she had to deal with Burgess, she also had to deal with Kevin in some way because he’s Adam’s partner and friend. Also she needed him to show her that life is not just work. He needed her to show him that getting together with someone doesn’t mean getting married in the first two seconds and to teach him how to go slowly. I feel like the end of the season for them didn’t make much sense because they’ve had the entire season working together (putting aside the episode where Kim and Hailey went missing) without that effecting their judgement and suddenly that changed. I hope we see more of them in the next season. #Upzek all the way. I hope you enjoy the video. :) P.S.
