A Hopi Prayer, Do not stand at my grave and weep.

A Hopi Prayer, a Native American prayer read at my mother’s funeral that I’ve put to music in my interpretation. It sends a message, and a truth for myself that our loved ones are always there with we are aware of natures gifts and communication with us. love ya mom ***Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there, I did not die I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints on snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain I am the gentle autumn rain When you awaken in mornings hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet white doves in circled flight I am the soft stars that shine at night Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there, I did not die.
