This series is how I traveled the world for 12 months on $12,000 ($30 a day) after I quit my job in the US to travel internationally. After leaving Alaska, I flew to Washington DC to meet up with my younger brother Tommy and we headed to Sweden together. Our plans of outdoor adventures were foiled so we ended up exploring other parts of the city and learned what really matters when you travel.
