Alec R. Costandinos Vol. 9: Trocadéro Lemon Blue [Full Album + Bonus] (1978)

Released on the same day as Costandinos’s Paris Connection, Trocadéro Bleu Citron was the soundtrack album to a film by Michael Schock that premiered on August 30, 1978, about a 10-year-old boy who loves to skateboard and falls in love with Caroline. The album features a beautiful side-long instrumental theme on side 1 with romantic, swirling strings. The poppy theme song, the single release off the album, opens side 2. On the original release it was sung in French by Shake, on the Casablanca release it was sung in English by Arthur Simms who also wrote the lyrics. After some ballads, the funky Grooves finishes the album on a great note. 00:01Trocadéro Suite 15:55 Trocadéro Lemon Blue (English Version) 20:41 You And Me 25:00 Moments Of Love 28:20 Pupuce 31:45 Grooves Bonus Tracks: 35:04 Trocadéro Blue Citron (French Version) 39:04 Trocadéro Suite (Single Version)
