Using one of the film’s lobby cards as inspiration, Nicotero decided it was the perfect moment to capture in a life-sized recreation. Quint, Hooper and Brody are on the back of the Orca and they have run in with the shark. In one shot, all three are posed, leaning over the transom, looking off to something unseen.
