The Banjo’s Back In Town

This is a classic american song penned in 1955 and first released by Sammy Kaye (Swing and Sway). But in the same year Teresa Brewer, Billie Anthony and Alma Cogan recorded their own successful version of this song. Claudia Faria, our female vocalist, performed it at the Lisbon Colosseum. It’s a nice song with a 1920’s jazz rhythm flavor where banjo was king!
