Prince William Speaks to Aid Workers in Syria

The Duke of Cambridge joined a video call with Syrian aid workers supported by the Disasters Emergency Committee Coronavirus Appeal earlier this week. William heard from DEC Chief Executive Saleh Saeed about the challenging situation in Syria, and how the funds donated by the UK public have brought about lifesaving assistance and protection. The Duke was joined by aid workers in Syria, who discussed how families who have already suffered so much. Kawther, who is an anaesthetist working in a Covid-19 ward, explained how DEC funds is supporting hospitals.
