Water freezes INSTANTLY. Everyday life in the coldest place on Earth, Oymyakon

I spent a week in #Oymyakon, a remote town in Russia’s Siberia which is deemed to be the world’s coldest inhabited place. The lowest recorded temperature here was -72°C or -96°F. Luckily for us, when we got to Oymyakon it was only… -51°C or -60°F and I never felt THAT cold in my entire life! Watch how people brave one of the world’s most frigid and inhospitable environments as we embark on a journey to Oymyakon – the coldest place on our planet where people live all year round. In Part 3 I continue to explore Oymyakon and hook up with Alexander, a badass local man, who takes me ice-swimming at -49°C or -56°F. I also interview a local weatherman whose face gets frostbitten right as we speak outside his weather station.
