Kind of an odd fight to have a rematch for, but things like this were much easier for boxing promoters and the TV companies broadcasting fight cards to get away with pulling off on a largely unknowing crowd. What do I mean exactly? Well, Mr. Espinoza is claimed during intros as sporting a respectable enough record of 29-8-2 (21 KO), whereas Boxrec shows him coming into this fight with a record of 4-10-1 (4 KO). So I am giving some benefits of doubt all around here and will say that Mr. Espinoza likely has a record that is somewhere between these two stated records, lol. Thank goodness the internet came around and put a big damper on this somewhat common practice that existed for decades.
