Russia unveils plan for ambitious high speed railway project The first line will connect Moscow and Saint Petersburg: it will take 2 hours and 15 minutes to travel over the 679km railroad. There will also be additional routes connecting Moscow to Siberia, the Black Sea, Belarusian capital of Minsk, and the central Russian city of Ryazan.
