The EP has officially released under Utada (Hikki) name as the theme for Evangelion: 3.0 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. I’m glad that Anno has kept Hikki from the very first TV release till the final movie release of Evangelion as a songwriter and composer. I watched a television series in the late ’90s which I couldn’t comprehend the story or message in my teenage years. I remembered the advanced robots in purple, red and blue with alternative ways to control the robot with orange liquid! Last year, I re-watched all the episodes, including movies. Then I spent days reading Evangelion Fandom; I still can’t grasp all the meaning of Hideaki Anno intended to communicate!
