American singer, Tony Bennett, passed away at his home, following a seven-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease, on July 21, 2023. His most known songs are, Because Of You. I Left My Heart In San Francisco. Rags To Riches. The Way You Look Tonight. Fly Me To The Moon. And The Good Life. He also had bit parts, in numerous films, and television series, such as, Bruce Almighty. Analyze This. 77 Sunset Strip. And Entourage. During his 75 year career, Tony Bennett has received numerous awards, including, 20 Grammy Awards, and two Primetime Emmy Awards.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Crow, and four children.
Tony Award-winning actress, and singer, Carlin Glynn, died complications from dementia, and cancer, on July 13, at the age of 83. She was most known for her role, as Brenda Baker, in the 1984 American comedy film, Sixteen Candles.
She is survived by her children, Alexandra, Mary, and Peter.
