GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Senators () | Looking Forward

The Penguins battled hard in the first period and recorded a couple good scoring chances on the power play, but neither team was able to break the game with a goal. In the 2nd period, the Senators pulled ahead ending the period with a 4-0 lead. Kasperi Kapanen and Evan Rodrigues scored two quick goals in the 3rd period, putting the Penguins back in the game with a score of 5-2. In the last 5 minutes of the game, the Penguins pulled their goalie and Rodrigues scored his second goal of the night. Despite their best efforts, the Penguins were not able to pull out a win and the Senators tallied another on an empty net to bring the score to 6-3.
