the lion and the mouse 🌱

[HD] my try to recreate one of aesop’s fables, the lion and the mouse! using simba and that little mouse who might be cute but took my will to live while masking it this was a part of AngelBuddyFilm’s fairytale mep, which you can watch full here ❤ i thought i’d post this seperately since i really loved the concept and i’m quite satisfied with the outcome! plus add a little instrumental on the background to make it more jungle-themed 😌 if you’re unfamiliar with the fable, the story is pretty much as depicted; simba finds a little mouse on the jungle, which begs him not to eat it saying that it will repay his kindness. simba is amused and scoffs by thinking of a mouse helping a lion out, but eventually lets it go. some other day simba gets tied up on a trap, and is unable to escape. but the little mouse comes across him and recalls of the lion that spared his life and the promise it gave to him.
