Princess Juliana’s Return To Holland (1945)

Unused / unissued material - date and locations unclear or unknown. Holland / Netherlands. We have been told this is: PRINCESS Juliana returning from exile in Canada & inspecting the 49th (West Riding) Infantry Division. Various shots of Princess Juliana’s return to Holland. Crowds of people lining the streets cheer and wave flags as the Queen’s car goes by. The Queen is greeted by officials and is presented with flowers by local children. She and her party walk up the steps of a building. The Queen stands before a microphone and makes a speech. Several shots of the huge crowd listening. The Queen arrives by car at an army base. She inspects troops then watches a flypast. She meets soldiers in the spectator stand (?) then watches a march past.
