Title reads - ’Piddington amazes: Is thought transference possible?’ Foreword: ’Piddington, ex-digger, has mystified radio millions with thought transference he studied in Changi prison, Singapore. This visual test was made at Red Cross Convalescent Home, Sydney, positively without benefit of trick photography.’ Australia. M/S Piddington selecting two men from the audience to help him in the test. C/U one of the men blindfolds Piddington’s wife who sits on the stage beside him. M/S as the other volunteer selects a book and a line from it which he shows to the audience. M/S as he prints the line on a blackboard. M/S as he asks the audience to concentrate on the line while he transmits it, in thought, to his wife. M/S as his wife gradually builds up the sentence. C/U head shot of Piddington concentrating. C/U as his wife gets the complete line except the name of the town which is Chinese and puzzles her. M/S as servicemen applaud. C/U Mr and Mrs Piddington. FILM I
