[MASHUP] DREAMCATCHER & GFRIEND - Scream In The Labyrinth

So, I loved Dreamcatcher’s comeback! It has their strong rock vibes, but the chorus is quite different from usual. I loved the verses and how the chorus is dramatic/action movie-like. Also, their whole album was great! There were different genres, but they pulled all of them really well! I loved GFRIEND’s comeback too! “Crossroads“ has their signature sound and was really beautiful! And the album was AMAZING! I talked about it in my post, but their songs surprised me in a really great way! ’Labyrinth’ is a really great upbeat song and really shows a more dark image to GFRIEND, but with quite a different vibe which I really like! Also, the performances for the song were so cool! Anyway, at first, I wanted to try mashing up ’Scream’ and ’Crossroads’, but obviously their vibes are totally different and in all honesty, ’Crossroads’ is a really difficult song to do a mashup with since its more orchestral nature. Anyway, when I heard ’Labyrinth’, I immediately thought that this song could fit ’Scream’ and luckily the keys weren’t too far. There’s some gap between the bpms, but I don’t think it’s too problematic. Also, I used a lot of bonus tracks because I felt it could make the mashup more exciting and I tried to play with some sounds (especially proud of the descending chord progression I made at the beginning haha). For the video, I really tried to make a ’war’ vibe, because of how upbeat the result sound. I mostly tried to make GFRIEND chase DREAMCATCHER with guns, while DREAMCATCHER tries to attack with spells. But, you can interpret the MV how you want cuz I’m open to theories and honestly, I didn’t have a clear story in mind hahaha! Anyway, I really hope you will like this mash-up!
