Misirlou #Shorts

Misirlou is an eastern Mediterranean folk song by an unknown original composer. #Shorts - The oldest known recording is from 1927 (Michalis Patrinos?). At the 2004 Olympics held in Athens, it was chosen by the organizing committee as the most influential Greek song of all time, performed at the time by Anna Vissi. Another interesting feature of this song is that worshipers of almost all styles of popular music consider it their favorite song. It was used in the Quentin Tarantino movie Pulp Fiction, several rock bands recorded it (the most famous being the Dick Dale version), it became a favorite song among Serbs (who were astonished when they discovered that it was a Greek song), is used by belly dancers and at Jewish weddings.
