War in Ukraine: Russia attacks Kyiv, other cities in overnight air strikes • FRANCE 24 English

Ukrainian officials said their air defenses downed 32 of 35 drones launched by Russia. The attack was part of a wider bombardment of across Ukraine that extended as far was as the Lviv region, near Poland. The Russian strikes were seen as testing and exposing the gaps in Ukraine’s air protection.
