Shoji and kumiko patterns 08 Kawari yae-zakura and yae asa-no-ha

In this video, I show how to make the kawari yae-zakura and yae asa-no-ha patterns on an asa-no-ha background. These are relatively easy patterns to make, but have tremendous “wow“ factor. The saw I use in the video, and the one I strongly recommend for all kumiko work is the Nakaya EAKS D210C crosscut dozuki saw. An excellent saw with perfect balance.
