Cheri - (Roland Petit) Carla Fracci and Massimo Murru, Tokyo 2000

For a gala in Tokyo in 2000, the 64-year-old Carla Fracci and 29-year-old Massimo Murru revisited their roles in Roland Petit’s ballet ’Cheri’ created for them 4 years previously. Here the two pas de deux’s, between Colette’s mature Léa and her younger lover Cheri, are joined together making a ’gran pas’ of 23 minutes! Music is by Poulenc.
