Aikido technique TENCHINAGE against grab and strike attacks, by Stefan Stenudd, 7 dan Aikikai shihan
TENCHINAGE is one of the basic aikido throwing techniques (nage waza). It means heaven-earth-throw, which is because of one arm going up and the other down. Here it is used against different strikes and grabs, sometimes rather slow for clarity and sometimes not.
