Gerbera Daisies Field- Watercolor Painting - Use Salt-Tutorial Step by Step
Today, I am going to share with you how to create the field of Gerbera Daisies in watercolor painting. Gerbera Daisy has 2~3 layers of petal. Especially I will use SALT. Salt absorbs the color. After the color dried, I will take out the salts with paper. Then we can see amazing beautiful marks which is generated by salt’s osmotic action. Also it creates the abstraction effect.
COLOR: cobalt blue, orange, sap green, ultramarine deep,
pyrrole rubin, scarlet lake
Also I used my own pallet colors.
PAPER: Arches Cold Pressed 140 lbs.
BRUSH: Davinci 5 cosmotop Mix B, Davinci 3 petit gris pur.
