LIVE from a Soviet Fishing Vessel

This was a special gig. The crew of MS Stubnitz are special people. They welcomed us, fed us and were generally wonderful. We partied with them after the show and we stayed in a cabin on the boat that night.  The history of this boat is fascinating. It’s been traveling round the world, mooring in harbours and ports and holding raves in its hull. There is no vessel in its category from the 1960’s still in active operation. It’s previous life as a fishing trawler alone is notable, it’s a piece of history and an honour to play on it, but it’s recent history, fro its restoration to present day tracks the history of underground music.
