Fw190 engine run - 4 March 2019

The first engine run of the Focke-Wulf Fw190 after a four year hiatus, marked the first major milestone of getting the ’Butcher Bird’ back into the sky for Easter’s Yealands Classic Fighters 2019. Part of the Omaka based, Chariots of Fire Fighter Collection (CFFC), the team at JEM Aviation have been racing against the clock to make the Warbird airworthy for Marlborough’s largest multi-day event.
