RARE - Jefferson Starship - Count on Me - Live Rehearsal Version (1978)

The original members of Jefferson Starship during a Live rehearsal for their then-upcoming album, Earth, at the Seacliff, San Francisco, home of Paul Kantner and Grace Slick in 1978 (which, by the way, was the final album of this line-up). Note the signature guitar solo of Craig Chaquico that has more of an English-style ending than what was ultimately heard on the recording. This is because, at the time, Craig’s early influences were not only the American guitarists that his bandmate Pete Sears had already played and recorded with, such as John Cipollina and Jimi Hendrix, but those that shared Pete’s British heritage like artists Rod Stuart and Jeff Beck.
