INDEPENDENCE DAY RESURGENCE Building Cockpit Pt3 Sculpting Controls IDR ADI BTS

Like the pilot seats for the IDR spacecratft, the control “sticks“ required an immense amount of detail in the sculpture. Artist Mike O’Brien sculpted the main heavy gun control sticks (with some detail assistance from Ayumi Miyashiro); Brian Clawson and Akihito Ikeda sculpted the flight controls; Tim Martin sculpted the original overhead firing controls (later removed for a more simplistic look).
