Ukraine: Jewish pilgrims arrive in Kiev for Rosh Hashanah in Uman

Around 160 Hasidic Jews arrived in Kiev, on Tuesday, as they make their way to Uman to celebrate the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. The city of Uman is a major pilgrimage site for Hasidic Judaism, since it hosts the burial site of the Nachman of Breslov, a major figure in the Hasidic revivalist movement.
