‘God of Thunder’ Pole Mysteriously Lands Near Beach

A carved pole has mysteriously appeared on the coast of south east England. No one knows why it’s there or who put it up. Some locals say it’s got a Banksy sort of vibe. Banksy is the pseudonym for the street artist who makes political statements through their unexpected pieces of public art. The pole bears the inscription “Perkunas 2023,” which may be a reference to the Baltic god of lightning and thunder and the year. But again, no one knows!
