A Series to Rival Sukeban Deka | Sailor Suit Rebel Alliance (1986) J-Drama Retrospective

Japanese schoolgirl series may have come & gone, but at their height when Sukeban Deka was a household name, a rival series about delinquents fighting evil showed up on Japanese television. Created as a rival Drama to Sukeban Deka III, Sailor Suit Rebel Alliance is one of the best kept secrets of the J-Drama genre. In the video Kenny lauderdale (me), goes over a few episodes, & then does a full retrospective on the history of the series. It may have nothing to do with anime this time, but I fully expect there to be more cosplay of these characters after this catches on. Some extra info. This series is currently Japanese only, though you could probably watch it on youtube if you really wanted to. Currently it’s airing in Japan in HD, but they’ve cropped the top & bottom of the series image off, so you’re stuck with DVDs if you want to watch it properly.
