Mr. Parry Thomas all ready with his famous “Babs“ to be first to reach 200 miles-an-hour.“ Pendine Sands, South Wales The car ’Babs’ is pushed out of the shed, by a team of helpers and engineers. Its pushed up a slope . Parry Thomas gets in and poses. The cover is taken off to show off the six cylinder engine. One man has Dunlop on his jumper. The press are seen nearby. A sequence follows with the speed attempt and the burnt out looking vehicle stationary in the sand. A man shovels sand at the tyres. There is a repeat of this sequence , better quality, with ’Babs’ hurtling down a slope onto the sands, and speeding along attempting to break the record.
