Sea level rise is so much more than melting ice

While researching climate change, we heard something confusing: the sea level in New York City is rising about one and a half times faster than the global average. We couldn’t figure out what that meant. Isn’t the sea ? So we called up an expert, Dr. Andrea Dutton, and went down the rabbit hole.
