Dog Star Adventure [Trs-80 Model I] Adventure International - Lance Micklus- Full Solution Dog Star Adventure was an Interactive Fiction Text Adventure (IFTA) originally distributed as a Type-In program published in SoftSide Magazine for the TRS-80 Model I microcomputer series in 1979. After which it was ported to almost every microcomputer made. The one used here is the Death Planet release by Adventure International, as Other-Venture #5, Death Planet : the dog star adventure. Dog Star was the first IFTA game ever published in a major publication. It was played in a pure text environment, the player inputting text command actions in a two word string using VERB-NOUN, with a primitive parser deciding what happened, and then describing the results to the player in text on screen.
