How Ortodoux Boots are made : Palomar - Handmade hiking boots in collaboration with BootHunter

#bootmaking #bootmaker #howto Inspired by BootHunters exploration of the mountains and deserts across North America, Southeast Asia, Southern Africa, Central America, and Europe. For this second collaboration boot between Ortodoux and BootHunter, Brian (aka BootHunter) shared his vision for a boot that was at once classic, stylish and refined, while also being sturdy, capable and sporty. The Palomar Hiking Boot takes its name and inspiration from the home of BootHunter in the mountains of San Diego California USA. The design and handcrafted construction of this boot harken back to another time, while it’s finish, components and capabilities are very much of our time. Also in its design and crafting this is a boot destined to become an heirloom passed from generation to generation. For each MTO boot sold, we will be making a donation of $50 to firefighters in Palomar Mountain.
