Steve Smith Plays a 1936 Leedy Windmill Kit
This 1936 Leedy Windmill kit is an exotic beauty from an earlier era. The kit consists of drums that have matured with age, a Low-Boy, Chinese toms, calf heads with art, rare vintage cymbals, a wood block, temple blocks, cowbell, and an ancient bass drum pedal. Even the sticks were modified with rubber butt-ends to evoke a warm sound from the toms. From the collection of Northup Drums:
